Effective date: July 16, 2026
Driven Steakhouse (“we,” “us”) operates the restaurant at 5720 McWhinney Blvd., Loveland, CO 80538, the website drivensteakhouse.com, and the Driven iOS app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or app, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to host you well — reservations, event RSVPs, and your account preferences — we don’t sell your information, and the app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
What we collect
Account information. When you create an account you sign in with your email address (we email you a one-time code) or with Sign in with Apple. Your account may also include your name and — if you choose to add them — your phone number and birthday.
- Your phone number is optional. We use it to reach you about requests you send us (reservations, private dining, special occasions).
- Your birthday is optional. We use it only to offer you a birthday cocktail once a year. You must be of legal drinking age to redeem it.
Event RSVPs. When you RSVP to one of our events we keep the event, your party size, and any notes you add.
Requests you send us. When you send a special request or a private-dining inquiry, we keep what you submit — preferred date, party size, occasion, and your message — and it is emailed to our team so we can call you back.
Favorites and preferences. Menu items you save as favorites, and your notification and marketing preferences.
Push notification token. If you allow notifications in the iOS app, we store the device token Apple assigns so we can send you news about events, the menu, and limited pours. Declining notifications doesn’t affect anything else.
Payments: none. The app and website process no payments and store no card numbers. Reservations are completed with our reservations provider, and gift cards are sold through our point-of-sale provider’s site — each under its own privacy policy.
Website analytics and advertising measurement. Our website (not the app) uses Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics to understand site traffic, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our advertising. These tools set cookies and receive standard technical data such as your IP address and the pages you visit. You can limit them with your browser’s cookie controls, Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and your Meta ad preferences. Our web server also keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, and our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
- The app contains no advertising or cross-app tracking.
How we use your information
- To take and manage event RSVPs, and to follow up on reservation, special-occasion, and private-dining requests.
- To recognize you as a member — including the annual birthday cocktail.
- To send app notifications about events, menu changes, and limited availability — only if you opt in. You can turn these off anytime in the app’s Profile tab or in iOS Settings.
- To keep the service secure (for example, rate-limiting sign-in codes and requests) and to fix problems.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising (website analytics described above).
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that make the product work, and only for that purpose:
- Our website host, which stores account and request data on our behalf.
- Apple, to deliver push notifications and to operate Sign in with Apple.
- Email delivery, to send your sign-in codes and to route your requests to our team.
- Our reservations provider and point-of-sale provider, when you book a table or buy a gift card through their pages.
- Google and Meta, in the limited website-analytics role described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our guests and staff.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information, RSVPs, and requests while your account is active. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are stored only as one-way hashes. Accounts unused for more than about 13 months are signed out automatically. When you delete your account, we delete your account record, favorites, and RSVP history.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account anytime: in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by emailing us. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- See or correct your information: your profile is editable in the app; for anything else, email us.
- Opt out of marketing: turn off the marketing toggle in your profile, or email us.
If you live in Colorado (or another state with a consumer privacy law), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. For the website advertising tools described above, use the opt-outs listed there; for everything else, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
Security
Traffic between the app, the website, and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in codes are stored only as one-way hashes and expire quickly. The app stores your session credential in the iOS Keychain, encrypted at rest.
Children
Our website and app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above, and note the change in the app’s announcements.
Questions? Email [email protected], call (970) 305-5994, or ask your server — a human will answer either way.
